(P1 2026 Intake) Key Information for Parents

Dear Parents/Guardians of P1 2026 Rosythians,

 

A very warm welcome to the Rosyth Family! We are delighted to have your child and you join our vibrant school community. Over the next six years, we look forward to partnering with you to ensure your child’s holistic growth and school experience is a truly rewarding one. There are two notifications below for your attention please.

 

  1. Onboarding to Parents Gateway (PG)

At Rosyth School, we use Parents Gateway (PG) as our primary communication platform to keep you informed.

Through PG, you can:

  • Receive important updates from the school and MOE

  • Manage administrative tasks, such as providing consent for programmes and activities, declaring travel plans and submitting queries about school announcements.

  • Receive valuable resources to support your child’s smooth transition to primary school, such as crucial administrative details about the first day of school in 2026.

 

For those unable to access PG, please let us know and we will make available a hardcopy of the shared information. We encourage you to download the PG app on your mobile device to stay connected: Follow the simple one-time onboarding process.

 

Please refer to Annex A for step-by-step instructions. We have also provided a FAQ document about PG.

 

Important Notes:

Existing PG users do not need to re-onboard.

Parents with custodial rights will maintain access to PG until JC2 .

 

  1. Details for P1 Orientation

We are excited to invite you and your child(ren) who is/are entering P1 in 2026 to attend our Primary 1 Orientation. Due to space constraints, we kindly request that attendance be limited to a maximum of two parents and the child(ren) who will be entering P1.

 

Date: Friday, 24 October 2025

Time: 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Venue: Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH), Level 4

 

During this session, we will share important information to help prepare your child for the start of school in 2026. Both new and existing parents are highly encouraged to attend. More details will be shared via Parents Gateway (PG) nearer the date.
